Home Data and image authorisation

Your data and your image

This is what you accept when you buy online. It is written to be understood, not to be signed unread.

Version 2026-01 In force since January 2026

In short

  • We use your data to complete your purchase. We ask for it to issue your pass, let you in and get back to you if something comes up.
  • Photos and video are taken in the park. You may appear in them, and we may use them to show what PANACA is like.
  • We do not sell your data to anyone. Never. Not to advertisers, not to mailing lists, not to third parties wanting to sell you something.
  • You can change your mind. Write to us at hola@panaca.co and we will sort it out.

Who is responsible for your data

PARQUE NACIONAL DE LA CULTURA AGROPECUARIA S.A.S. — PANACA S.A.S. —, tax ID (NIT) 801.001.634-1, registered at Km 7 vía Vereda Kerman, Quimbaya, Quindío, Colombia.

For anything to do with your data: hola@panaca.co.

1. Processing of your data

By buying, you authorise us to collect and use the data you enter in the form. Without this authorisation we cannot sell you the ticket, because there would be nothing to issue it with.

What we ask for

  • Your first and last name.
  • Your ID type and number.
  • Your email address and mobile number.
  • The date you are buying for and what you bought.
  • The internet address you bought from and the browser you used.

What we use it for

  • Issuing your pass and sending it to the email you registered.
  • Letting you into the park on the day of your visit and preventing someone else from using your pass.
  • Invoicing the purchase and meeting our accounting and tax obligations.
  • Writing to you if something changes: the weather, an opening time, an attraction that will not run.
  • Handling any complaint or request you make.
  • Keeping the park and its visitors safe.

What we do not do with it

  • We do not sell it or pass it to third parties so they can market to you.
  • We do not use it to make automated decisions that affect you.
  • We do not ask for sensitive data — health, beliefs, ethnic origin — to buy a ticket.

2. Use of your image and your information

PANACA is an open park where photographs and video are taken all the time: of the shows, of the stations, of people enjoying themselves. By buying, you authorise your image and that of those with you to appear in that material, and for us to use it to promote the park.

Where it may appear

  • Our social media and our website.
  • Advertising material, printed or digital.
  • Internal training material and the park's records.
  • Press coverage about PANACA.

This authorisation is optional. The box comes ticked at checkout, but you can untick it and still buy: your pass does not depend on it. If you untick it, we record that you said no.

The rules we set ourselves

  • This authorisation is free of charge: it earns you nothing, and we charge you nothing for it.
  • We do not use your image in ways that ridicule you, expose you, or imply something you did not say.
  • We do not sell your image to third parties for their own campaigns.
  • If you ask us to take down a photo you appear in, we remove it from the material we still control.

Anything already published and then copied or shared by other people is beyond our control, and that we cannot promise you.

Who we share your data with

Only with whoever is needed for your purchase to work:

  • The payment gateway you choose, which is the one that processes the charge. PANACA never sees or stores your card details.
  • Our email and messaging providers, so your pass reaches you.
  • The authorities, when a law or a court order requires it.

All of them are bound to use your data only for that and to look after it.

How long we keep it

While you are a customer, and afterwards for as long as accounting and tax rules require us to keep the record of a sale. Once that period is over, the data is deleted or anonymised.

Your rights

Colombian Law 1581 of 2012 gives you these rights, and we respect them here:

  • To know what data of yours we hold and where it came from.
  • To correct or update it when it is wrong or has changed.
  • To ask us to delete it, except what the law requires us to keep.
  • To withdraw this authorisation, either entirely or only the image-use part.
  • To file a complaint with the Colombian Superintendence of Industry and Commerce.

How to exercise them

Write to us at hola@panaca.co from the email address you bought with, or to the park's address. We reply within the deadlines set by law: ten working days for a query —extendable by five more— and fifteen working days for a complaint, extendable by eight.

Withdrawing the image part does not affect your purchase: your pass remains valid and you can still come in.

Children

If you are buying for children, it is you — as their parent or guardian — who gives this authorisation on their behalf. If a child appears in a photograph and their family asks us to take it down, we take it down without asking why.
